Requirements

BACKGROUND

You are seeing this page because someone within your organization is requesting an event with RemoteBridge.  By way of background, we do virtual team building, recruiting, and onboarding using immersive 3D (i.e. avatars running around a virtual world). Our clients are some of the world’s largest companies, including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Dell, Progressive, Comcast, The Mayo Clinic, Salesforce, Expedia, McKesson, Veritas, and Phreesia. 


SOC2, Type 1 Certified

Pen Test Report

Bank-level Security

All our events are private and gated - only your team and our hosts will be present.  Our registration system is password-less with invited guests using either a token-based magic link or SSO via our partner Okta.  Please let us know if your event will be requiring SSO.

Furthermore, we neither collect nor store PII.

Firewalls

Allow List: Our experiences are delivered entirely by browser so, occasionally, organizations need to place the following domains on their “allow list.” 

Note: We have four virtual islands. Your organizer will know which one will be used or, if you prefer, you can place all these domains on your allow list.

HIPPA Compliance

Many HIPAA compliant organizations automatically reset their systems every 48 hours, so please ensure that your allow list is refreshed, ideally, on the morning of your event.


ZSCLAER & McAFEE

Zscaler users will need to allow our site as well (here are the steps) and/or direct and enable end-users to disable Zscaler. McAfee also can cause access issues, especially related to audio.

VPNs

VPNs can cause access issues.  Please ensure that our site is accessible or provide end users with any steps they need to take.  


Auth0 by Okta

RemoteBridge offers users the ability to create individual accounts, storing avatar customizations and user-specific data for a personalized experience. Additionally, for seamless and secure authentication, users have the option to leverage Single Sign-On (SSO) via Auth0, a widely trusted authentication platform that provides flexible solutions, including SSO, for user verification and data protection.


Minimum System Requirements

Minimum Bandwidth Requirements

Recommended internet connection: Ideally, 10mb/s, but not less than 5mb/s.Recommended ping: Not more than 50.


Audio Issues

The most common cause of audio issues are VPNs.  The second most common cause are second monitors connected by HDMI - these need to be disconnected and the browser refreshed.  Finally, sometimes audio is connecting to bluetooth headphones that might be in a nearby drawer or backpack.  To resolve, please disable bluetooth and refresh your browser.
